The Light

Closed circulating a summer night, around midnight, on a narrow road and very little traffic in the Andalusian countryside, from thousands of olive trees, with their family vehicle they were traveling in addition to my grandparents, my three uncles, they came difficult to explain.

Suddenly, it was day, a great light that seemed to be right on top of them, lit up the whole field. Such was the intensity that every corner to where his eyes were directed as if it were noon. He had done the day at night.



Filled with terror, my uncle stepped on the accelerator and in his words, "ran like never before done." But it was useless, the light was still on them. Curve after curve, I did not care to run, was there, unchanged. Only moments before taking the last turn before reaching the village, the light suddenly disappeared. And the pristine blue sky turned into the darkest night imaginable.

Since then, everyone lost speech and vitality that characterized them. In the coming days, all passengers in that car started slowly sick ...
