The damn song

This time we will talk about a song that according to legend incites suicide. His name is Gloomy Sunday and it is a romantic piece written by Laszlo Javor and Rezső Seress composed in 1933.

This work takes a lot of deaths behind him, starting with his own composer Rezső Seress, who finished throwing out the window. But this is not all, since his arrival in Hungary, where they are prohibited reproduction, there were a total of 17 suicides in a short period of time. In carrying United States, this number increased by more than 100 others. In other countries like England, Germany and Italy also produced similar suicides.

Finally, this song was banned in several countries. While it is true that the content and meaning of the lyrics could lead to suicide for people who had lost their loved and wanted to rejoin him, the reality is that it has always been too rough the many deaths that leads behind them, and hence has become a myth or legend.

We find a similar case with the novel "The Sorrows of Young Werther," which also was the inspiration for many people in this state of depression to suicide.
